STRENGTHENING

1. Removal. 
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave up to 2 mm of length to refine after leveling. 
3. Lightly buff the nail surface with a 220-grit file without pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100-grit buffer. 
4. Perform manicure. 
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap afterward. 
6. Degrease the nail using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: wrap a wipe around an orange stick and thoroughly clean the cuticle area and sidewalls. 
7. Primer is optional; it is not required if the base coat has sufficient acidity.
8. Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush. Work into all sidewalls and cure for 60 seconds. 
9. Level with gel, keeping a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds. 
10. File the shape after leveling to create thickness at the free edge for proper support. 
11. If the natural nail is thin, it may curl — file approximately 1 mm from the underside to prevent lifting. If the material is rigid and the nail is very soft, the natural nail may separate from the product at the free edge. 
12. Apply gel polish. 
13. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve shine. 

CLASSIC EXTENSIONS

1. Removal. 
2. Shorten the nail to 1 mm and create a rounded shape. 
3. Lightly buff the nail surface with a 220-grit file or a 100-grit buffer. 
4. Perform manicure. 
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap afterward. 
6. Degrease using LUNAmoon Nail Prep (same method as above). 
7. Apply LUNAmoon Primer if needed. 
8. Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base. Cure for 60 seconds. 
9. Fit the nail form for extension. 
10. Build the artificial nail using clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds. 
11. File the free edge and refine the shape. 
12. Reapply Rubber Base to the filed areas. Cure for 30 seconds. 
13. Level with gel and cure. Pinch at 10–15 seconds. If the gel has strong tackiness or contains shimmer, pinch at 20 seconds. 
14. Final cure for 120 seconds. 
15. Remove the tacky layer before applying gel polish. 
16. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing.
